The Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival in Orange Beach, Alabama
This week will be a chance to see a bunch of friends and cohorts gathering in Lower Alabama for the annual Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival.
The beautiful Orange Beach, Ala.
More than 20 venues in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Perdido will play host to somewhere around 300 songwriters playing their tunes. Folks plan their vacations around this unique event each year.
The festival is named for the former night watchman at the famed Flora-Bama Lounge, and the Flora-Bama and the Silver Moon, across the street, are kind of the epicenter for the music Nov. 12 – 22.
I don’t know all the details, but Tipsea’s in Orange Beach, one of my favorite spots along our Coast, is holding a kick-off event this week, and I plan to be there for that.
I’ll invite Cal Carter, my website administrator, to post some details on the Tipsea’s event.

See you along the Coast!
